Aurora is passing through a growing moment in foreclosure market. Nowadays, we have 213 foreclosures available in the city. And compared to last month things got easier for those who want to invest, with more foreclosures in the market and more chances of deals. Aurora started September with 235 foreclosures available. October registered a rise to 245 homes, or 4.26%. The city had a down in November: -12.24%, leaving 215 properties in the market. Things got worse in December with a drop to 194 homes in foreclosure available (-9.77%). Opportunities went abundant for buyers last month, with a rise, when Aurora registered 210 foreclosures, a 8.25% increase comparing to December.
As for the cost, Aurora has a small difference in prices comparing to all US. Nowadays, investors can buy foreclosure homes in Aurora for $132,053, a value 22.67% below the US average price ($170,764), and a 0.16% decrease compared to the prices of January in the city.
