{"id":6632,"date":"2025-05-27T16:13:15","date_gmt":"2025-05-27T16:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.foreclosurelistings.com\/news\/?p=6632"},"modified":"2025-06-12T11:18:45","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T11:18:45","slug":"green-brick-a-real-estate-developer-based-in-plano-texas-will-build-2100-homes-near-ray-roberts-lake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.foreclosurelistings.com\/news\/foreclosure-market\/green-brick-a-real-estate-developer-based-in-plano-texas-will-build-2100-homes-near-ray-roberts-lake","title":{"rendered":"Green Brick, a real estate developer based in Plano, Texas, will build 2,100 homes near Ray Roberts Lake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of the largest residential developers in the city of Plano, Texas, is preparing to build around 2,100 new homes on a lot of approximately 227 hectares, near the border between Denton and Cooke counties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Green Brick Partners, headquartered in Plano, Texas, has just acquired the first parcel of land intended for its Burks Ranch neighborhood, which will be located near Ray Roberts Lake, very close to Pilot Point in Cooke County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jed Dolson, president and chief operating officer of Green Brick, stated that construction of the homes should begin in about two years; and the project will include a resort-style pool, parks, trails for walking or biking, a shared amenity center, and a large preserved natural space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Trophy Signature Homes, part of Green Brick, will lead the construction of the homes in the new neighborhood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although additional information about the project and estimated timelines is still pending publication, Jed Dolson noted that the team considers Burks Ranch to be a long-term project, lasting at least 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dolson also mentioned that if construction were to start today, the price would be under $400,000.
