Although their design is simple, they are today one of the most effective ways for self-consumption, energy savings, and planet protection.

Their use is increasingly common among thousands of companies and families seeking to benefit from their implementation. Over time, this modernization has also been incorporated into government plans, as happened in the city of Tucson, Arizona.

A little less than three years ago, the city approved, in the government plan of the current mayor, the implementation of solar panels for homes with the sole purpose of making housing more affordable through the significant savings these panels would generate.

Recently, a small part of the property modernizations with solar panels has begun to develop, and this time the administration has started by equipping a few public homes with this technology, but it is expected to reach more people and households in the coming years.

Through an agreement signed with Technicians for Sustainability (TFS), the Tucson administration has been able to install some solar panels on some public single-family properties belonging to the Public Housing division of Housing and Community Development (HCD).

In recent statements, the mayor expressed happiness at making housing affordable for low-income people through these solar panels, which are part of her housing project and sustainability plan.

However, very few families benefited from this initial installation project. Therefore, the city of Tucson is creating other effective strategies that will also allow low-income homeowners to install solar panels on their properties to help reduce energy costs and improve their living conditions.

Although few homes have been modernized, it is expected that in the not-too-distant future, all residents will be able to install energy panels so that the city becomes healthier and more resilient with sustainability and the environment.

Available Foreclosures:

Tucson: 120 homes available

By Elías DaSilva | November 20, 2024.

Modernity has brought with it the creation of solar panels, which are those plates that serve as intermediaries for transforming sunlight into energy.
