This initiative was embraced by Gorman &amp; Company of Wisconsin, and it includes the construction of a 71-unit housing complex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gorman &amp; Company, a firm with 170 projects nationwide, is collaborating with the Ray Graham Association of Lisle, known for its work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The city council approved some exceptions to allow the project to proceed, including reducing the number of parking spaces required by law, the square footage per unit, and the amount of brick masonry typically used for development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Among the amenities the project will offer its residents are a shared area and walking trails.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">City officials who conducted the project study concluded the meeting with a memorandum stating: &#8220;The proposed development will address the city&#8217;s affordable housing needs and ensure that the housing stock is varied, meets community demands, and is accessible to all.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jennifer Bruzan Taylor, a council member, noted in a short interview that she agrees with the project and also considers that it addresses an important need in the Naperville community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gorman &amp; Company aims to finalize the property acquisition by 2025, with plans for new residents to begin moving in by 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Available Foreclosures:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Naperville: 15 homes available<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lisle: 8 homes available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">By El\u00edas DaSilva | 18 de Noviembre de 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At its latest meeting and unanimously, the Naperville City Council gave its support to a new affordable housing project aimed at seniors and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
