This website is decent for first-time buyers because it really takes them step-by-step through the foreclosure buying process. The properties listed are also on par with what families and lower-income individuals look for. However, if you are seasoned real estate investor like I am, I wouldn't recommend this site. I have a lot of money to invest now and I feel like this properties aren’t what really what I'm looking for.
I had always thought that Chandler had interesting cultural events and a strong community life. I lived in a boring suburb off of Phoenix where every house looked the same. Desperate for a change of scene, I began looking into foreclosed apartments in Chandler after having visited the city. A friend recommended this site to me and I tried the seven-day trial to get a taste. Relatively pleased, I became a full-time member. The seven-day trial was great because it allowed me to try out the site without having to pay anything. Since joining, I have found a nice, loft apartment in downtown Chandler near their Center of the Arts I plan to check out soon.
From my experience being a member on this site for six months, I would say that this site has both good and bad sides. The good: varied array of properties, decent customer service and plenty of information offered to first-time real estate buyers. The bad: some properties lacked contact information, articles were poorly written in Learning Center and membership price was somewhat expensive.
I had visited Chandler before and was intrigued by this city's strong community ties. Phoenix was beginning to make me feel isolated since it was so big and widespread. One day, I just decided to move there and began to look for properties that had been foreclosed. I found this site through a link off a real estate website. Overall, I would say that this site is pretty good and user-friendly. Sometimes I did notice that they didn't also post when auctions would take place but that was pretty infrequently. After a few months, though, I did find a great condo. My boyfriend and I couldn't be happier!
I was offered a job at Chandler, Arizona working for Intel and couldn't have been happier at the salary they offered me. Since I didn't want to spend a large amount of money on a house, foreclosures were my number one choice. My parents had been members of this site for a few years and suggested I try it. I did as they suggested and was at first was put off by this site's rather high membership price. But I eventually grew to like it and found a great three-bedroom house near my office for a low price. The one thing that did bother me was that sometimes a property would be on their database one day than gone the next!
