There is a good chance that if you are in a position to invest and are looking for someone to help you with that investment that you have friends that are in that same situation. So why not ask them before you get too far into the search? After all they are your friends and people like to talk. Also make sure when you are looking at someone to handle this portion of your life that they are specialists in personal investments and not corporate investments. The strategies are different between the two and you really need someone that can deal with you on a one on one basis and corporate specialists usually don’t do so well in that area.
Finally, when you actually meet with your prospect and are going over things. Pay attention to how much talking he or she does as opposed to how much listening. If they are constantly talking about how they can do this or that or have done this or that. It might be wise to move on. IN order for someone to do a good job on investing your money for you they need to be able to listen to what you are saying.
