Infographic: Obama’s Stimulus Gap
Obama’s job stimulus program never really lived up to its expectations, according to this info graphic. Eighty five percent of Obama’s advisors stated that they believed the stimulus package would significantly lower the unemployment rate; the reality is that for thirty-five months it has stayed about eight percent. The Obama camp also expected that 3.5 million new jobs would be created by the end of 2010 when, in actuality, 2.5 million jobs were lost by the time 2010 ended. However, the economy is in shambles and it could be awhile before it completely recovers, even with all the work Obama is trying to do.
