Women still clean more today than men do; 51% of women do household chores daily compared to 20% of men. Besides more women cleaning than men, about fifty percent of couples today argue about the topic of cleaning. Even though women still are the biggest market for cleaning products, a new trend has recently cropped up in the cleaning industry. Companies nowadays are more concerned about making environmentally-friendly cleaning products than they used to be and a large percentage of cleaning companies on the west and east coasts are offering “green cleaning services”. More and more people are beginning to realize that the chemicals they use in their cleaning supplies are bad both for their health and their environment due to new research from the last decade. Even though things have started to move forward, much is still the same.
